‘Immense power’ of Freed to Run marathons benefit poor children with medical issues

Jacksonville Area Legal Aid’s goal is to raise $1 million for the Northeast Florida Medical Legal Partnership endowment, which would permanently fund legal assistance for pediatric patients and their families. All funds raised will be matched at 125 percent by Baptist Health, for a total $2.25 million endowment.
